Foreign Minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus will travel to Ukraine and Moldova


Tomorrow, on April 28, Foreign Minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus will participate in the high-level international conference organized by the Ukraine government entitled the “International Support for Ukraine Conference” in Kyiv, focusing on the reform process and the future of the country.

The Foreign Minister will give a speech at the conference, in which she will focus on Estonia’s support of the reform process in Ukraine.

Attendees will include representatives of European Union institutions and EU Member States, the G7 countries and UN member states at the level of Heads of State and government representatives. Also taking part in the conference will be leaders of international organizations and the investment and business community, and representatives of civil society. From Kyiv, Foreign Minister Pentus Rosimannus will travel on to Chișinău. On Wednesday, April 29, Foreign Minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus will be visiting Moldova.

The Foreign Minister is scheduled to meet with the President of Moldova Nicolae Timofti, the Speaker of the Parliament Adrian Candu, Prime Minister Chirila Gaburici, Foreign Minister Natalia Gherman and Economic Minister Stephane Bride.

At the meetings, bilateral relations and opportunities for development will be discussed. Other topics of discussion will include Moldova's integration with the European Union and the situation in the region, as well as other current foreign policy topics.
